Well I'm sorry to here about this...I became friends with Ben in the 10 th grade...we had the same English class with MS.Lilybud Garrett teaching...will never forget when him and Bobby Duitt ran a chain thru my belt loops and locked me to my desk...thru the commotion I was asked by ms. Garrett to move to the front if the class...well after she saw my problem, the 3 of us were sent to me.Reynolds office including the desk...something I will never forget!! Oh how I miss high school!

Ben and I dated when we were in 10th grade.  He was such a sweetheart and I'm so very sad that he has passed away.  A dedicated Christian, he was an inspiration to many.  He would want us all to rejoice with him as he is in Heaven with Jesus, happy, healthy, and safe waiting to be reunited again with his family and loved ones.

Ben and I were good friends throughout high school and afterwards.  I was also fairly close with the entire Long family for many years.  Ben was a solid example of a man of great character and His witness as a Christian always inspired me.  No doubt, he is still missed by so many of us who were privileged to share our lives together with him.  He is now among the great host of witnesses in the presence of the Lord experiencing eternal life beyond comprehension never to endure suffering anymore. Thanks be to God.
