Karen was in my youth group, at one time, at Calvary Bible Church on Drake- I always thought so much of her, she was solid in her Faith, and loved The Lord- I can remember her having flaming red hair, and a bit of a temper to match, but all in all, a very sweet, caring individual- We kind of went our separate ways as our Senior year wound down, I regret not keeping up w/ her and staying in touch- Live each day to the fullest w/ those that are close to you, because the guarantee of one more day is not a given- May God Bless her family and friends.
Karen was in my youth group at Weatherly Heights Baptist Church. We basically grew up together. I agree with the way John described her. She was smart, had a great sense of humor and play, but yes, I remember that temper. So tragic about the accident that took her life way too soon. I saw her parents and sister Brenda a few weeks ago at a Weatherly anniversary (50th). They looked well.
