Mickey Rae Clark was born on 2 August 1956 in Virginia. His father was in the military and was stationed in Huntsville for a couple of years which is when Mickey joined us at Grissom. According to his Mother, who is still living in Huntsville, Mickey was a bit of a "rebel". After some disciplinary problems he dropped out of Grissom high school after our Sophmore year and headed off to New Orleans to do his own thing.

In New Orleans, Mickey found work as a builder and discovered he had a knack for it. He eventually became a well respected and talented contractor earning a good enough living to indulge in his hobby of building motorcycles. Eventually, Mickey made his way back to Huntsville and formed his own contracting business there, which was also successful. He was married once, divorced, and had no children. On 12 April 2002, while working on a job site, Mickey collapsed and died of a sudden massive heart attack. He was only 45 years old at the time and with no known health problems. His death caught his relatives by surprise.

Mickey was layed to rest in Greenwood Cemetery, in West Point, Mississippi at the family plot. If anyone remembers Mickey or can add to his story, please do.
